First off let me say that I don’t know if this is legit or not, I’ve been trying to get some confirmation but no one seems to know. I decided to post it to the masses and I’m hoping for a message from someone to confirm it. If anyone knows then let me know. I found this whilst searching my spam earlier this evening, I got it around two and a half weeks ago. Read what I got in the email below. Finally, the word is Frank is currently working with Nas. That should be a dope collaboration if it’s true! UPDATE! I’ve just seen The Source and co post it so I think it’s legit.
The homie @IAMKRIS24 over at Marble Stoop went ahead and gathered up all the Lonny Breaux tracks he could get his hands on, along with some stuff Mr. Ocean released prior to and after his breakout album Nostalgia, ULTRA and put together The Lonny Breaux Collection. Such a thing is not in anyway an official release from Frank Ocean, however it is a ton of music you probably haven’t heard from the persistently mysterious Frank Ocean. It’s also worth mentioning that these tracks include production from several big producers; The Runners, J.R. Rotem, and Midi Mafia.

This project was created to raise awareness for IWWMG not only in the US but worldwide as I don’t feel they’re getting recognition they deserve based on how good their music is. There are no new tracks in this project, it’s simply the best 22 joints taken from each of the artists that are mixed by DJ Joe Sensation into a compilation tape for us to enjoy. The next two volumes will drop in the next two weeks.

26th Febuary 2010 saw the death of Nujabes. Saturday will be the 1 year anniversary and i wanted to create a compilation of the best tribute songs to him. With the exception of one track all these tribute songs were already posted for free. For some of the tracks this is the first time they have been in available on mp3. And i was lucky enough to be able to include a unreleased Marcus D song. So although you may already have most of these songs i hope its worth downloading for the ones you don’t. I was’nt going to make a tribute mix as i didn’t feel the need to do one but after so many of you disagreed with me on Facebook i now feel it was right to create this compilation. – Bob42jh
