Well this has been an interesting 24 hours for Earl Sweatshirt! He officially announced his return by posting a video on Youtube in which he requested 50,000 followers. He also stated that once he reaches 50,000 followers he will release a new track and here we have it! This one is called “Home (Thanks James)”. However, it’s not all funky dory for Earl as his mum is not allowing him to regroup with Odd Future. According to Tyler’s Twitter, Earl is trying to make his parents happy by not rolling with Tyler and co and this has pissed the OF general off. Tyler also stated that Earl will NOT feature on the upcoming Odd Future album “Odd Future Tape Vol. 2″. What a shame! Hopefully they can work things out because we’re all dying to hear some new Earl.
